Thursday again..... this week’s
#ThrowbackThursday goes back to the timeline of my journey to become a mediator and enter the world of
#goingitalone.
Once the brand and website were sorted, I felt the need to throw a little launch party! I had never done anything like that before yet had attended many many events like it. If others could do it then why couldn’t I?
Social media had already become a huge part of my business and of my marketing strategy. I had made many contacts already and even obtained work through Twitter and Linked in! The launch party had live twitter feeds on big screens to get
#unlockhorns trending and I even created my own rhinos for snapchat. (Snapchat being something I’d never used before at the time and felt very old having to ask how to do it!)
Public speaking fills me with dread, as I’m sure it does many of us. I felt more vulnerable than ever, having had a baby, feeling very different about myself and having decided to enter the professional world alone, but I made my way through it and couldn’t have been prouder of myself. Many social media contacts travelled far to come to the event for which I was super grateful and finally Concentus ADR felt official.
