I’m writing this week’s
#ThrowbackThursday post amongst comforting a toddler with an infection, trying to get antibiotics delivered in a contactless way quickly and arranging test runs for Monday’s mediation. It’s definitely a busy day!
The picture below is when I did the CEDR course in London with Rosie by my side. Rosie and my hubby spent a week taking in Christmas in London Town, whilst I got my head down to get the accreditation that I needed to be a mediator. As a new mammy, it was the first time I had spent full days away from Rosie, but felt incredibly lucky to have her with me to see her every night when I came back. The course was intense, exhausting and at times I found myself having to justify myself to many others about my career change for many reasons but it gave me the determination I needed to keep going! I was going to become a full time commercial mediator despite not fulfilling hardly any of the stereotypical criteria!

Three and half years on there are new challenges to face but if I can get through two days of face to face assessments covered in baby sick and having been up all night for months on the lead up to them, then I can face the challenges ahead can’t I? Of course I can .......
See you next week #ThrowbackThursdays
