It’s Thursday again and this week’s #throwbackthursday looks at my first run of mediations when I would take Rosie with me to wherever I would be mediating (with daddy day care as part of the team too!) She was so small and I couldn’t stand being away from her over night, many requiring two nights of hotel stays.
This photo was taken after a mediation, where she met me outside and I told her all about my day.
Mediations are exhausting and can be emotionally draining in the #contestedprobate world. The parties are on an emotional journey that you ride with all of them in a ten hour period, managing those emotions and reigning them in when you need to. When I first started, (and even now with remote mediations!) having my little lady with me afterwards is the perfect tonic to reboot and refresh for the next one ahead!
