Time for
#ThrowbackThursday. This week's photo is one that makes me smile every time I see it, even though it is blurry.
It takes me back to one of our first holidays as a family and post changing my career. It is a moment I will remember forever. As you will know
#goingitalone means that financial security changes, making plans and taking holidays changes. When I started, I worried that it would be a few years before we would go away again, before I would be confident that we could afford it and that I could do it without having to worry about the business. I am grateful my worry was short lived. We were able to take Rosie away as a baby and have those special moments. I quickly realised that business can continue on holiday, it is the beauty of
#goingitalone.
This photo always makes me think of the phrases "to dance in the rain" and "dance like no-one is watching". The heavens opened, everyone ran inside, I picked up Rosie and ran in the opposite direction, enjoying the moment of big fat rain splashes coming down on us, singing her favourite song and dancing. It is how I have learned to live life. We do not know what will be thrown at us but we need to embrace the moments (and the longer times) for what they are, and in adversity, have courage to continue!
